The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of persulfates from China (A-570-847)1 for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
The International Trade Commission has announced its preliminarily affirmative injury determinations in the antidumping duty investigations of galvanized steel wire from China and Mexico; steel nails from the United Arab Emirates; and stilbenic optical brightening agents from China and Taiwan; and in the countervailing duty investigation of galvanized steel wire from China. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its investigations, with its preliminary CV duty determination due on or about June 24, 2011, and its preliminary AD duty determinations due on or about September 7, 2011. On May 12, 2011, Senate Judiciary Committee leaders Leahy (D), Grassley (R), and Hatch (R)1 introduced S. 968, the Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property (PROTECT IP) Act of 2011, a bipartisan effort to strengthen protections against the illegal online sale of counterfeit goods.
The International Trade Commission has announced its preliminarily affirmative injury determinations in the antidumping duty investigations of bottom mount combination refrigerator-freezers from Korea and Mexico and certain steel wheels from China, and in the countervailing duty investigations of refrigerator-freezers from Korea and steel wheels from China. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its investigations, with its preliminary CV duty determinations due on or about June 23, 2011, and its preliminary AD duty determinations due on or about September 6, 2011.
