The Commerce Department has released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on common alloy aluminum sheet from Spain (A-469-820). The agency calculated an AD rate of 9.9% for Compania Valenciana de Aluminio Baux, S.L.U. and its affiliate Bancolor Baux, S.L.U., the only company under review. Any changes to Baux's cash deposit rate would take effect on the publication date of the final results of this review in the Federal Register, currently due in September. As it currently stands, once it issues the final results, the agency would instruct CBP to liquidate entries from Baux entered Oct. 15, 2020, through March 31, 2022, at importer-specific rates.
The Commerce Department on May 4 released the preliminary results of its countervailing duty administrative review on phosphate fertilizers from Morocco (C-714-001). The agency calculated a preliminary rate of 14.49% for OCP S.A., the only company under review. That 14.49% CVD rate would apply for cash deposit purposes, and for the purposes of assessments for entries from OCP for entries Nov. 30, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2021. Changes to OCP's cash deposit rate would take effect beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan (A-588-874). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Oct. 1, 2020, through Sept. 30, 2021.
The Commerce Department released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on common alloy aluminum sheet from India (A-533-895). The agency preliminarily calculated zero percent AD duty rates for both companies under review, Hindalco Industries Limited and Virgo Aluminum Limited. If the agency's findings are continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from Hindalco and Virgo entered Oct. 15, 2020, through March 31, 2022, will not be assessed AD, and future entries from these two companies will not be subject to an AD cash deposit requirement until further notice. Any changes to their cash deposit rates would take effect on the date of publication in the Federal Register of the final results of this review, which are due in September.
The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping and countervailing duty administrative reviews on wooden cabinets and vanities and components thereof from China (A-570-106/C-570-107). In the final results of these reviews, Commerce will set AD assessment rates for subject merchandise for the companies under review entered April 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022, and CVD assessment rates for entries Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021.
