The Commerce Department is giving advance notice that in automatic five-year sunset reviews scheduled to begin in August it will consider revoking the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on steel racks from China (A-570-088/C-570-089) and steel trailer wheels from China (A-570-090/C-570-091); as well as the antidumping duty orders on fresh tomatoes from Mexico (A-201-820). These orders will be revoked, or the investigation terminated, unless Commerce finds that revocation would lead to dumping and the International Trade Commission finds that revocation would result in injury to the U.S. industry, Commerce said.

CBP announced an Enforce and Protect Act investigation and said it has reasonable suspicion that Broadcreek Marketing Associates, Dorado Surfaces, Kingka Cabinet and Multistone Enterprises evaded the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on quartz surface products from China. The agency enacted interim measures against the importers.
Witnesses at the annual African Growth and Opportunity Act eligibility review hearing contradicted an earlier comment from the Ethiopian government, which argued that Tigray has been relatively peaceful since November 2022, and basic services such as electricity, water, phone service, education and healthcare have been restored in the region. "Following widespread and substantial reforms of the food assistance structure, which allowed for enhanced oversight and beneficiary selection, USAID resumed food assistance across Ethiopia," Ethiopian representatives wrote.
