The Commerce Department is suspending liquidation and setting new antidumping and countervailing duty cash deposits on all imports of aluminum foil made in South Korea and Thailand using Chinese-origin aluminum foil or sheet, after preliminarily finding that the imports are circumventing AD/CV duties on aluminum foil from China (A-570-053/C-570-054), the agency said.

The Commerce Department is setting new countervailing duty cash deposit requirements for imports of paper file folders from India (C-533-911), after finding illegal subsidization of Indian producers in the preliminary determination of its CV duty investigation. Suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements will take effect for entries on or after March 20, the date the preliminary determination is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on common alloy aluminum sheet from China (A-570-073). These final results will be used to set final assessments of antidumping duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Feb. 1, 2021, through Jan. 31, 2022.
