New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect March 20

For entries on or after March 20, the publication date of these final results in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates. For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except the Alcha group of companies, the only company under review), cash deposit rates will remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate of 59.72% applies. The new rate for Alcha, determined to be part of the China-wide entity since it did not demonstrate eligibility for a separate rate, is as follows:

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD on importers of subject merchandise for entries Feb. 1, 2021, through Jan. 31, 2022. Commerce will liquidate entries during that period at the rates listed above.

(The review period is 02/01/21 - 01/31/22. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2211150042 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
