The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on finished carbon steel flanges from India (A-533-871). The review covers 44 companies that entered subject merchandise during the period of review Aug. 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022.
The Commerce Department has released the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on collated steel staples from China (C-570-113). The agency calculated new CV duty cash deposit rates for the Chinese producers and exporters listed below. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries during calendar year 2021.
The Commerce Department issued its final determination in its countervailing duty investigation on gas-powered pressure washers from China (C-570-149). Suspension of liquidation is currently not in effect for entries on or after Oct. 3, 2023, and Commerce will require cash deposits of estimated CV duties on future entries only if it issues a CV duty order.

The 5th Circuit’s Oct. 3 decision affirming the injunction barring officials from the White House and four federal agencies from coercing or significantly encouraging social media companies to moderate their content (see 2310040001) “is flawed three times over,” said the government’s opening brief on the merits Tuesday at the U.S. Supreme Court in Murthy v. State of Missouri (docket 23-411). The injunction is stayed pending completion of the SCOTUS review (see 2310230003).
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on oil country tubular goods from Ukraine (A-823-815). Commerce set an AD rate of 4.89% for the only company under review, Interpipe (Interpipe Europe S.A./Interpipe Ukraine LLC/PJSC Interpipe Niznedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant/LLC Interpipe Niko Tube). The agency will calculate importer-specific rates for entries from Interpipe from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. The new 4.89% AD duty cash deposit rate for Interpipe takes effect Dec. 21, when the final results are due to be published in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on polyethylene terephthalate film from Taiwan (A-583-837). Commerce continued to find, as it did in the preliminary results of this review, that Nan Ya Plastics Corp. did not undersell subject merchandise during the period of review, assigning the company a zero percent AD rate. Subject merchandise from Nan Ya entered between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022, will be liquidated without any assessment of antidumping duties, and future entries of subject merchandise exported by Nan Ya won't be subject to AD cash deposit requirements until further notice. The new AD cash deposit rate takes effect Dec. 21, the day the final results are to be published in the Federal Register.
