Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
Based on comments received after the preliminary results of this review were published, Commerce made a slight change to a calculation, and the resulting rate for mandatory respondent ULMA Forja is slightly less than in the preliminary results. That rate affected the rate for the non-individually examined respondents.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the companies listed below), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all others rate of 18.81% applies.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Dec. 20
For entries on or after Dec. 20, the publication date of these final results in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for subject merchandise produced or exported by eight companies, as follows:
| Exporter | AD Rate |
|---|---|
| ULMA Forja, S.Coop | 3.93% |
| Aleaciones De Metales Sinterizados S.A. | 3.93% |
| Central Y Almacenes | 3.93% |
| Farina Group Spain | 3.93% |
| Friedrich Geldbach Gmbh | 3.93% |
| Grupo Cunado | 3.93% |
| Transglory S.A. | 3.93% |
| Tubacero, S.L. | 3.93% |
Assessment Rates for Entries June 2021 - May 2022
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries June 1, 2021, through May 31, 2022. Commerce will assess AD duties on ULMA at importer-specific rates, and on the other companies subject to this review at the rates listed above.
(The review period is 06/01/21 - 05/31/2. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2307100044 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
