CBP is seeking comments by May 10 on an existing information collection for applications for cargo container and road vehicle certification for transport under customs seal, it said in a notice. CBP proposes to extend the expiration date of this information collection by 60 days with no change to the information collected or to the estimated burden hours associated with the collection.
CBP extended restrictions for imports of archaeological and ecclesiastical ethnological material from Honduras that were due to expire this month, the agency said in a final rule. Effective March 12, the restrictions will remain in place for another five years, through March. 14, 2024.

CBP is reopening the comment period on how to "better position CBP to operate in the 21st century trade environment," the agency said in a notice. "To allow for the submission of comments following the March 1, 2019 public meeting, and to maximize public participation and input on the key themes described below, CBP has decided to allow additional time for the public to submit comments," it said. CBP seeks more input on the same questions within six broad themes as previously requested (see 1812200003). Those themes are: Emerging Roles in the Global Supply Chain, Intelligent Enforcement, Cutting-Edge Technology, Data Access and Sharing, 21st Century Processes, and Self-Funded Customs Infrastructure. Comments are due April 11.
