CBP will extend its travel restrictions on the northern and southern borders through Jan. 21, 2021, it said in two notices. The travel bans do not apply to cargo, and exempt crossing the border from Canada or Mexico to work in the U.S.
CBP will make the changes to marking requirements on goods from Israel and Palestine previously announced by the State Department (see 2011200049), CBP said in a notice released Dec. 22. “Given commercial realities, affected parties may need a transition period to implement marking consistent with the position announced in this notice,” CBP said. As a result, the changes will take effect March 23, 2021.
