Alki David’s FilmOn and Aereokiller must stop streaming broadcast TV programming online within the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals’ territory pending the resolution of a lawsuit against the companies by NBCUniversal, Disney, CBS and others, said a preliminary injunction entered in U.S. District Court, Los Angeles, Thursday. The injunction is set to take effect two days after the media companies post a $250,000 bond with the court. Three days later Aereokiller must report to the court “in writing and under oath setting forth in detail the manner and form in which Defendants have complied with the Preliminary Injunction,” it said. An attorney for the defendant didn’t immediately comment. The 9th Circuit covers Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Guam.
The International Trade Administration initiated a new shipper review for the antidumping duty order on fresh garlic from China (A-570-831) at the request of Shijiazhuang Goodman Trading Co. for merchandise it exports to the U.S. produced by Jinxiang Zhongtian Business Co. The ITA will determine if Goodman is eligible for an estimated AD cash deposit rate other than the China-wide entity rate it currently receives.

The International Trade Administration moved up the effective date for revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on honey from Argentina (A-357-812 / C-357-813), after receiving no opposition to its preliminary results of a changed circumstances review. In the September results of a sunset review, the ITA revoked the AD/CV duty orders as of Aug. 2, 2012. Through this changed circumstances review, the ITA now says the effective date of revocation is Dec. 1, 2010, for the AD duty order, and Dec. 1, 2011, for the CV duty order.

Cook’s compensation was down from $378 million total he got in 2011, when he received a stock award of $376.2 million, but salary of only $900,017, the proxy shows. Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer’s total 2012 compensation was $68.6 million, including salary of $805,400 and a stock award of $66.2 million, among other forms of compensation, it shows. His total 2011 compensation was $1.4 million, including salary of $700,014, it shows.

The International Trade Administration issued its final affirmative countervailing duty determination on large residential washers from Korea (C-580-869), which increased the CV rates for most Korean companies. Although this final determination takes effect Dec. 26, ITA will only require CV cash deposits of estimated CV duties if it issues a CV order.
