The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Taiwan (A-583-831). Rates calculated in this review will be used to set assessment rates for importers of subject merchandise from the exporters remaining in the review that was entered July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea (A-580-880). Commerce made changes to the calculations used in its preliminary results, but the calculated zero percent AD rate for HiSteel Co., Ltd., the only company under review, remained the same in the final results.

The Court of International Trade on July 2 said in a text-only order it will hold oral argument on importer Detroit Axle's challenge of President Donald Trump's decision to eliminate the de minimis threshold for Chinese products via the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. While CIT Judges Gary Katzmann, Timothy Reif and Jane Restani stayed consideration of the importer's claims against the tariffs on China issued under IEEPA, the judges set a July 10 oral argument date for consideration of the company's motion for a preliminary injunction against the end of the de minimis threshold (Axle of Dearborn, d/b/a Detroit Axle v. Dep't of Commerce, CIT # 25-00091).

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand (A-549-502). Commerce calculated an AD rate of zero percent for the only two companies under review, Saha Thai Steel Pipe Public Company, Ltd. (also known as Saha Thai Steel Pipe (Public) Company, Ltd.) and Thai Premium Pipe Co. Ltd. The final results are unchanged from the preliminary results.
