Rounding out the top 10 were one title each from Atari, Activision, Konami, Sony Computer Entertainment and LucasArts Entertainment: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 on PS2 at #5 (down one in its 4th week, $209,874 and $912,509), Call of Duty: Finest Hour on PS2 at #6 again, in its 5th week, $209,327 and $1.1 million), Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on PS2 at #7 (up 2 in its 7th week, $187,291 and $909,405), Killzone on PS2 at #8 (up 3 in its 7th week, $176,163 and $1.01 million) and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 at #10 (up 23 in its 2nd week, $173,836 and $243,157).
In its first week available, Fox’s I, Robot was the top- rented DVD in the U.S., Rentrak said its preliminary Home Video Essentials data for the week ended Dec. 19 showed. Rentrak said the title earned $12.36 million in DVD rentals. It was followed by DreamWorks’s Collateral at #2 ($9.04 million). The only other strong new DVD release was Disney’s Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, which earned $4.78 million.
