TelCove, which serves 50 U.S. markets, is seeking a Section 310(b)(4) ruling from the FCC declaring that its foreign ownership is permissible. Meanwhile, the company said it has had preliminary discussions with the Dept. of Homeland Security, FBI and Justice Dept. about potential security, safety and law enforcement concerns related to its foreign ownership. “TelCove anticipates that any such issues can be fully addressed through an agreement with the executive agencies and appropriate further action by the Commission.”
