The PS3 version was No. 5, up one. The 360 version of Army of Two from Electronic Arts was again No. 2, in its sixth week. That was again ahead of the PS3 version of EA’s game, at No. 8 again. Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii was again No. 3, in its sixth week. The 360 version of Activision’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was again No. 4, in its 23rd week.
STRASBOURG, France -- The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) needs more political clout, its president said Wednesday at a CEPT conference on technology and regulation. With 27 countries in the EU -- and many others aligning their policies with the EU -- CEPT wants to be more than a technical body, said Anthony De Bono, citing the need for a larger presence at the ITU. CEPT’s Electronic Communications Committee brings together the radio and telecommunications regulatory authorities of the 48 member countries.

Comcast got preliminary approval to disconnect some telecommunications services to 2,200 customers in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, an FCC public notice said Monday. The cable operator can automatically cut off service May 15 unless the agency tells it otherwise before then. The FCC wants comments on the plan by April 29 (docket 08-52). Comcast will help customers find new service providers and continue to sell other telecom services in the states, it said.
