Cyber Week is extending into December at Samsung, said the company’s e-commerce site Monday, showing deals lasting through Sunday. Some 83% of shoppers this year are looking for lower prices, it said, citing its August insights report. Among the latest deals, the company is taking 29% off QLED 80-inch and 85-inch 4K smart TVs, both marked down $1,100 to $2,199. The Freestyle portable projector is a quarter off to $599. Samsung is also discounting its Frame TV by up to $1,000: Deal prices range from $549 for the 32-inch model to $3,299 for the 85-incher.
Target’s stretching of Cyber Monday into a two-day event includes TV, headphone and game consoles deals, it revealed Friday. Sale prices for Sunday and Monday include $149 for a TCL 43-inch Roku TV ($200 savings) and $449 for an LG 65-inch smart TV with a $25 Target gift card (from $579). Beats Studio3 wireless headphones are over half off at $149, and the Beats Solo3 wireless headphones are $100 off at $99. Customers who buy an Xbox Series S console get a $50 discount, plus a $50 gift card, said the retailer. Target is continuing deals through Dec. 3, but electronics were largely absent from the list, with the exception of an HP 15.6-inch laptop, shaved by $220 to $379.
Toshiba said Tuesday it’s the official TV brand of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins Sunday and runs through Dec. 18. Toshiba TVs on sale at Best Buy Tuesday started at $129 for a 32-inch V35 HD Fire TV, at a $70 discount. A 43-inch Toshiba Fire TV was marked down $90 to $199, and the 55-inch C350 was $469. The Toshiba TVs included 30 free days of FuboTV, which is showing World Cup games live on Fox and FS1.
Xgimi added Best Buy as a distribution partner for its home projectors, it said Monday. Best Buy will carry the company’s Horizon and Halo+ Android TV 10 projectors that give users access to the Google Play store for streaming content. From Thursday through Nov. 20, the 4K Horizon Pro will be discounted $300 to $1,599, the 1080p Horizon will be $150 off to $849 and the 1080p Halo+ will shed $100 to $749, the company said.
Amazon pitched customers on Klipsch Piano Speakers in a Friday email, showing Klipsch RP-series speakers, with piano black finishes, for 20%-36% off. The series includes the RP-502S surround sound speakers ($319 a pair), RP-500SA Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers ($263 a pair), RP-600M bookshelf speakers ($319 a pair), plus the RP-8000F ($383 a pair) and RP-8060FA floor-standing speakers with height drivers for Dolby Atmos ($551 a pair.)
AMC is running a $5 Discount Tuesdays promotion at theaters through Jan. 31, it said Thursday. A premium $5 “experience fee” applies for movies in Imax, Dolby Cinema and Prime, it said, and a small popcorn and soft drink bundle is also $5. Customers have to be a member of the AMC free Stubs loyalty program to get the discounts.
Bose chopped $200 off the retail price of its Wave music system IV, bringing it to $299 in a “sneak peek” holiday sale promising savings of up to 40%. It also took $80 off the price of the QuietComfort 45 headphones, now $249. The website promotes buying direct from Bose to get “free 2-day shipping,” a 90-day "risk-free" trial and a “price match promise.” Customers can request a price match or refund when they buy a product on Bose.com, then find it priced lower at Best Buy, Target or Walmart within 14 days of purchase, it said.
Epson is cutting the price of the EpiqVision Mini EF12 streaming laser projector by $200 in a two-part holiday promotion that begins Sunday. The three-chip projector will be available via Epson online, Amazon, Best Buy, Epson, Micro Center and Staples for $799 through Nov. 6, then again Nov. 13-Dec. 4, the company said Thursday. Image size is up to 150 inches for the smart projector, which has an Android TV interface. It has custom-designed sound from Yamaha that uses the audio company’s AudioEngine digital signal processing technology, Yamaha drivers and an amplifier.

The company is luring customers through Sunday to its high-end Galaxy Z Fold4, with trade-in pitches bringing the $1,919 foldable down to $719 with 36-month company financing; it's offering an instant $100 off the Flip4, with “enhanced” $650 trade-in credit that brings the price down to $309. Samsung Week sales will include bundles, exclusive deals on Samsung.com and deals of the day; buyers can earn reward points toward future purchases, the company said. Sonos went back to the well in a Friday email promotion, pitching existing customers on a 15% “upgrade credit” on items in its holiday season gift guide. Sonos CEO Patrick Spence frequently references the company’s loyal customer base as a source of growth, saying on a February earnings call Sonos "is not a typical one-and-done purchase. It is a unique system that you build over time.” In fiscal ’21, existing customers made about 46% of new product registrations, said the annual report. As of October 2021, 60% of Sonos’ 12.6 million households had registered more than one Sonos product, with its households owning an average three. The company is expected to be more promotional in the 2022 holiday season after supply chain snags limited its holiday quarter revenue growth to 3% for the quarter ended Jan. 1. The holiday guide organizes products according to customer type: traveler, gamer, cook, cinephile, “basshead,” vinyl lover, entertainer and remote worker.
