CBP released its March 20 (Vol. 47, No. 13) and March 27 (Vol. 47, No. 14) Customs Bulletins. While the Bulletin does not contain any ruling articles, it does include recent general notices and Court of International Trade decisions.

CBP said it fixed problems with Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Entry Summary filings. Some ACE filers stopped receiving response messages March 20, but that issue has been resolved, the agency said in a CSMS message. Filers that didn't get a response on March 20 should retransmit the ACE Entry Summary, it said.
CBP reminded the trade in a CSMS message there are no 2013 quota limits for ethyl alcohol. Filers should use entry type code 01 for all ethyl alcohol entries. The International Trade Commission announced in February the termination of the study to determine the quota limit (see 13021134).
CBP's Miami field office will use new procedures for requesting agriculture inspection services, it said in an informational bulletin. Effective March 24, 2013, the CBP-Agriculture Inspection (CBP-Al) Request form will be required to be submitted by email as an attachment to the agcustomer@CBP.DHS.GOV email account when requesting inspection services with the Agriculture Air Cargo Operations Desk office. Faxing the CBP-Al form is no longer required, the notice said.

CBP posted an updated summary of changes for the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR). The changes reflect the recent deactivation of several New York area port codes (see 13031915).
