CBP issued a final rule imposing import restrictions on archaeological material originating in Egypt that represents Egypt's cultural heritage dating from the Predynastic period, effective Dec. 5 (here).
CBP issued a final rule extending and amending import restrictions on archaeological material originating in Bolivia, effective Dec. 2 (here). The import restrictions were scheduled to expire Dec. 4.

CBP issued the following releases on commercial trade and related matters:
CBP posted its fiscal year 2016 Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (also known as the "Byrd Amendment") annual report. Among other things, CBP lists almost $7.5 million in antidumping or countervailing duties that are awaiting collection and then disbursement, which will occur in the year in which the monies are received. That's a major change since the FY 2015 report, which listed $74.8 million in uncollected duties. CBP didn't immediately comment.
