Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Mexico's President Enrique Pena Nieto discussed trade facilitation, among other topics, in Mexico on July 5 and 6, DHS said in news release (here). The two countries are "examining how we will use technologies, data-sharing, joint training and harmonized business practices to improve trade and legal travel between our countries, making it faster, more efficient and more secure," Kelly said.
The U.S. signed Customs Mutual Assistance Agreements with Bolivia and Georgia meant to help prevent and detect customs violations, CBP said in a July 6 news release (here). “The legal framework of these agreements strengthen[s] the ties and commitments to exchange information between the United States and these international partners,” Executive Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Trade Brenda Smith said. The U.S. now has CMAAs with 79 countries around the world, CBP said. Smith signed the agreement for the U.S., Executive President of the National Customs of Bolivia Marlene Ardaya signed on behalf of Bolivia, and First Deputy Minister of Finance, Director General of the Georgia Revenue Service Giorgi Tabuashvili signed on behalf of Georgia, CBP said.

CBP will close its office within the Port of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, as of Aug. 17, the Port of New York/Newark said in a July 7 notice. "The services previously provided by CBP in the Port of Perth Amboy will be performed out of the Port of New York/Newark," it said.

The U.S. is the country of origin for the installed and assembled Carestream DRX-Ascend Digital Radiography system for U.S. government procurement purposes, CBP said in a final determination (here). The agency "concluded that the components are substantially transformed in the United States when the fully functioning digital radiography system is completely assembled and installed at an on-site location," it said.
