In the Sept. 26 Customs Bulletin (Vol. 52, No. 39), CBP published notices that propose to revoke rulings and similar treatment for raffia handbags and a smartphone accessory consisting of a keyboard, LCD and trackpad.

In the Sept. 26 Customs Bulletin (Vol. 52, No. 39), CBP published notices that propose to revoke rulings and similar treatment for diamond wire and fillable plastic containers.
CBP posted a new "reference guide" to the harmonized tariff schedule subheadings currently covered by the Section 301 25 percent tariffs. The guide simply lists the eight-digit subheadings subject to the tariffs and the partial exemptions at the 10-digit level.

CBP updated a table with information on whether the Merchandise Processing Fee is paid, or exempt from payment, for goods entered under free trade agreements or trade preference programs. "The table provides guidance and links with respect to MPF treatment for tariff preference level (TPL) goods, over-quota tariff rate quota (TRQ) goods, and originating unconditionally free goods," CBP said in a CSMS message.
