U.S. Customs and Border Protection released a spreadsheet showing active AD/CVD cases and the associated case numbers, ISO country codes, tariff numbers, and short descriptions of each case as of May 15, 2012 . This information alone should not be relied upon in determining whether an AD/CVD case is currently active, or whether merchandise falls under the scope of AD/CVD order, said CBP. The list of tariff numbers for the Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement's sugar tariff rate quota were posted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The notice lists 48 HTS Chapter 17 - 21 tariff numbers under HTS 9822.08.01 for sugar that is within the TRQ restraint level, adding that above the TRQ level, the normal "column 1" rates apply.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said it approved Inspectorate America Corp. of Sulfur, LA, as a commercial gauger. It's approved to gauge petroleum, petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes, in accordance with the provisions of 19 CFR 151.13. It said the approval became effective July 20, 2011.
