The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on steel nails from the United Arab Emirates (A-520-804). Rates calculated in this review will be used to set assessment rates for importers of subject merchandise from two producers and exporters -- Master Nails and Pins Manufacturing, LLC / Middle East Manufacturing Steel, LLC and Rich Well Steel Industries LLC -- that was entered May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2022.

The agency preliminarily found the only company under review -- Maithan Alloys Ltd. -- had an AD rate of 1.71%. If Commerce's finding for Maithan is continued in the final results, its AD cash deposit rate will be 1.71%, effective on the date Commerce's final results are published in the Federal Register. The agency would assess AD at importer-specific rates for entries of subject merchandise from Malthan entered May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, it said.

The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on large diameter welded pipe from Turkey (A-489-833), calculating a zero percent AD rate for HDM Celik Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S., the one mandatory respondent, and applying that rate to two other companies not selected for individual review. If the agency's finding is continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from HDM Celik and the other two companies entered between May 1, 2022, and April 30, 2023, will not be assessed AD duties, and future entries from HDM Celik and the two companies would not be subject to an AD cash deposit requirement until further notice.

The agency preliminarily assigned the RZBC group of companies -- RZBC Group Co., Ltd., RZBC Co., Ltd., RZBC Import & Export Co., Ltd., and RZBC (Juxian) Co., Ltd. -- a zero percent AD rate for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023.

The agency preliminarily calculated a 0.78% AD rate for the only company under review, Aperam Stainless Belgium N.V. If the agency's finding is continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from Aperam entered May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, will be assessed AD at the 0.78% rate. Any changes to rates for Citribel would take effect on the date of publication in the Federal Register of the final results of this review, due in October.
