The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued the May Interstate Certified Shellfish Shippers List (ICSSL). The ICSSL is published monthly for the information and use by food control officers, the seafood industry and other interested persons. The shippers listed have been certified by regulatory authorities in the United States, Canada, Chile, Korea, Mexico and New Zealand under the uniform sanitation requirements of the National Shellfish Program.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection posted a May 7 version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) electronic query report of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP also posted a version of its CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) electronic query report of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of May 7.
House Democrats and Republicans reached an agreement to reauthorize the U.S. Export-Import Bank, lawmakers said May 4. The bipartisan legislation would increase the bank's lending limit to $140 billion by 2014. The House is expected to vote on the bill this week. The text of the legislation is (here).
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the European Union (EU) reached a Mutual Recognition (MR) Decision between CBP’s Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program and the EU’s Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program May 4, 2012. An EU press release said the mutual recognition would begin July 1, 2012.
