Mexico Delays New Electronic Manifest Requirement Until April 1
Mexico Customs announced that it will delay mandatory use of its new electronic value manifest until April 1, amid concerns over industry readiness and the potential for processing delays at Mexican ports of entry around the original Dec. 9 deadline (see 2512050039).

According to a Dec. 8 news release, the delay will allow companies more time to prepare for mandatory electronic manifest filing. Mexico also will allow manifest filers who are ready to file electronically to make changes to their filings without paying fines, the release said.
