State Department Approves Military Sales to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia
The State Department this week approved possible military sales to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said.

Bahrain would get $445 million of F-16 aircraft components, missile containers, radar receiver component parts, guidance and control section spares, weapons system support and more. The principal contractors would be General Electric Aerospace and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
Saudi Arabia would get $500 million worth of equipment and services to support the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Corps’ Black Hawk helicopters, Apache attack helicopters, Chinook cargo helicopters and more. There are no principal contractors involved with the sale.
Saudi Arabia also would buy $500 million worth of aviation training from the U.S. Army. The training won't require the assignment of contractors.
