India Raw Honey: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on raw honey from India (A-533-903). The agency preliminarily set a zero percent AD rate for all 14 companies remaining under review. If the agency's findings are continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from these 14 companies entered June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024, won't be assessed AD. Any changes to rates for these companies' rates would take effect on the date of publication in the Federal Register of the final results of this review, due in March.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
Specifically, Commerce calculated zero percent rates for two companies -- Indocan Honey Private Limited and its affiliates Queenbee Foods Private Limited and Pearlcot Enterprises, as well as Shakti Apifoods Pvt., Ltd. It used an average of those rates to set zero percent rates for 12 non-individually reviewed respondents: AA Food Factory; Allied Natural Product; Ambrosia Natural Products (India) Private Limited/Ambrosia Enterprise/Sunlite India; Apibee Natural Product Private Limited; Brij Honey Pvt., Ltd; Ganpati Natural Products; GMC Natural Product; Hi Tech Natural Products India Ltd; Kejriwal Bee Care India (Pvt.) Ltd; KK Natural Food Industries LLP; Salt Range Foods Pvt. Ltd; and Yieppie Internationals.
That means that if the AD rate rises in the final results for Indocan and its affiliates or for Shakti, rates would also rise for all 12 of the non-individually reviewed respondents.
This review covers only the 14 companies listed above. Commerce said it's rescinding the review for 15 other companies that had no suspended entries of subject merchandise. The companies are listed in Appendix II of the notice. Their entries will be liquidated as entered.
Cash deposit rates for all other exporters of subject merchandise won't change as a result of this review, and Commerce has already ordered liquidation of entries from such companies as entered at the cash deposit rate in effect at the time of entry (ADCVDWeb Message # 4254407).
(The period of review is 06/01/23 - 05/31/24. See the notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
