CBP: April Audit Revenue Slumps 62% From March
Revenue generated from audits totaled $117 million in April, down 62% from March's audit revenue total of $310 million but 228% higher than the $13 million generated in April 2024, according to CBP's monthly update.

CBP completed 33 audits in April, compared with 71 audits in March and 20 audits in April 2024.
The agency also processed more than 3 million entry summaries in April, valued at more than $284 billion, compared with 3 million entry summaries filed in March with a value of more than $352 billion. In April 2024, CBP processed more than 3.2 million entry summaries valued at more than $289 billion.
CBP added that it has collected $37.9 billion in tariff revenue since Jan. 20.
