Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
- CBP has updated Appendix F of the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR), it said. License type codes C65 and C75 have been updated (here).
- CBP officers from the Chicago Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team (A-TCET) stationed at a cargo examination station near Chicago O’Hare International Airport inspected a shipment arriving from Chna that contained designer brand watches. The items were deemed to be counterfeit by CBP’s Centers of Excellence and Expertise, and if genuine, would have had a combined Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of over $6.64 million (here).
