Chile to Send eCert Data to USDA's FSIS Starting in Mid-April
Chile will be sending electronic certification data for exported products under the jurisdiction of USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service, according to an April 2 cargo systems message.

This change will start on April 14. "Once implemented, paper inspection certificates issued by the Central Competent Authority (CCA) in Chile will not be required by FSIS," CBP said.
