CBP: Country of Origin of Alcohol Prep Pads Is Taiwan
CBP ruled in January that Taiwan is the country of origin in a proceeding involving Medline Industries' alcohol prep pads, according to a Federal Register notice. Taiwan is where the fabric-making process for the alcohol prep pads occurred, CBP said.

CBP made the final determination on Jan. 17. Its ruling is available on the CROSS rulings website as HQ 340712. The agency noted that any party of interest seeking a judicial review of this ruling at the Court of International Trade must do so by May 5.
