Commerce Says No PSC Required for AD/CVD Certs on Malaysian and Vietnamese Wooden Cabinets
Importers of wooden cabinets and vanities from Malaysia and Vietnam that want to file a certification to avoid antidumping and countervailing duties don’t need to file a post-summary correction to do so, the Commerce Department said in a correction to a notice issued in July. Instead, importers should upload such certifications to CBP’s Document Image System (DIS), it said in a notice released Oct. 22.

In Commerce’s July scope ruling (see 2407160034), the agency said that AD/CVD orders on wooden cabinets and vanities from China (A-570-106/C-570-107) should cover wooden cabinets and vanities made from some Chinese inputs. Commerce also created a certification process for wooden cabinets and vanities from Malaysia and Vietnam not found to be covered by the scope of the China orders.
