Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
The settlement also covers a related complaint OL USA filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York last year to recover detention and per diem charges from Maersk over the ocean carrier's “wrongful retention” of shipping containers.
The parties expect to finalize and execute a written settlement agreement within 30 days, at which time they intend to submit a motion for voluntary dismissal of the complaints, OL USA said.
Maersk didn't immediately comment on the settlement.
