The FMC said it will reconsider the Gemini Cooperation Agreement when it receives the additional information it has requested.

In a statement, Maersk said, “This is fairly standard from the FMC. We do not anticipate any impact to the Gemini network and look forward to continuing to work with the FMC.” Hapag-Lloyd released a nearly identical statement.

The agreement, which was unveiled in January and filed with the commission in May, would allow the carriers to share vessels on trade routes between the U.S., Asia, the Middle East and Europe (see 2406070035).
