South Korea Circular Welded Pipe: Correction to Final Results of AD Admin Review

When the Commerce Department on June 5 published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe from South Korea (A-580-809) (see 2406050036), there were some errors in the Appendix II list of the non-individually examined companies.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

Commerce is fixing the errors, which are:

  • Two companies on the list should not have been there: Vesta Co., Ltd., which was not an initiated company in the review, and Hyundai Steel Company, which was a mandatory respondent company, and had its rate listed elsewhere.
  • One company should have been on the list but was not originally included: NEXTEEL Co., Ltd.
  • One company was listed as “Samkang M&T,” but that is a misspelling of the correct name of the company: Samkand M&T.

That also means there were 20 companies under review that were not individually examined, rather than 21, as stated in the original final results.

(The review period is 11/01/21 - 10/31/22. See Commerce's notice for more information, including a new Appendix II list of the non-individually examined companies under review. See 2312060058 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
