Actions Still Being Taken in Attempt to Settle 2014 Case, Joint Status Report Shows
The U.S. and InCase Design, an importer of cases and storage accessories for electronics, filed another joint status report in a case that has been ongoing since 2014 (InCase Design Corp. v. U.S., CIT # 14-00102).

In their statement, the two parties said InCase Design has “reviewed each case to determine which products and entries may be appropriate for stipulation and which entries should be abandoned.”
The importer also has proposed an “alternative basis” on which to settle a number of the importer’s cases that have likewise been ongoing. The offer “addresses concerns the Defendant has raised in the past,” InCase said.
The importer said it had also provided the U.S. product samples for review.
The parties said they will update the court again in 90 days.
