France Strontium Chromate: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on strontium chromate from France (A-427-830). Commerce set an AD rate of zero percent for Societe Nouvelle des Couleurs Zinciques, the only company under review. Commerce will instruct CBP to liquidate subject merchandise from SNCZ entered Nov. 1, 2021, through Oct. 31, 2022, without regard to AD, it said. The new AD duty cash deposit rate for SNCZ takes effect Feb. 6, the date of publication of these final results in the Federal Register.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except SNCZ), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 32.16% applies.

(The review period is 11/01/21 - 10/31/22. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2311020064 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
