Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
The process is outlined in a Jan. 26 CSMS message. To request a UFLPA review in ACE, filers should open the "protest creation screen" and select "Other" for the issue section and either UFLPA Exception Review or UFLPA Applicability Review for the "Secondary Issue," the agency said. The protests will then be routed to either the "applicable" Center of Excellence and Expertise, or the Port of San Juan, or the CBP Office of Trade Forced Labor Division for review, CBP said.
