PGA Items Including HFC Message Set Will Be Deployed on Jan. 16, CBP Says

Partner government agency items will be part of the ACE production deployment on Jan. 16, CBP said in a CSMS message Jan. 11. The deployment will include EPA's hydrofluorocarbons message set, as well as a new business rule for northern red snapper under the Seafood Import Monitoring Program announced in November (see 2311290046).

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

The deployment will be from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. EST, CBP said. The EPA HFC codes were originally set to deploy on Jan. 13 but will now deploy on Jan. 16. The EPA HFC flags EH1 and EH2 will be enforced with a "reject severity" following deployment, the agency said, as announced in December (see 2312190050). Other PGA fixes to "bugs" will be deployed as well.
