2024 Customs Broker Triennial Status Report and Fee Submission Begins Dec. 18
The 2024 Customs Broker Triennial Status Report (TSR) and the associated $100 filing fee for all licensed customs brokers opens Dec. 18, CBP said. The TSR, which was announced in a Dec. 14 CSMS message, must be submitted by Feb. 29, the agency said.

The TSR must be submitted by "each entity holding a valid broker's license" that was issued any time prior to the 2024 calendar year, CBP said. This includes a license for a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, association or individual. An individually licensed customs broker who forms a corporation, limited liability company, partnership or association will be required to submit two reports and fees, one for the individual license and one for the "organization license," CBP said.
TSRs can be submitted via the eCBP portal. Brokers failing to submit their TSR on time will have their broker's license suspended. By March 31, CBP will "transmit written notice of the suspension" to the broker, the agency said. The broker will have 60 days following that suspension to pay the fee and file the report to get the license reinstated. If not, the license will be revoked.
