Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the 32 listed below), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 2.22% applies.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Dec. 7
For entries on or after Dec. 7, the date the results are to be published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for 32 companies, as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
PT Ecos Jaya Indonesia and PT Grantec Jaya Indonesia | 8.4% |
PT Zinus Global Indonesia | 6.75% |
Average Rate for Non-Individually Examined Companies (applicable to 30 companies) | 7.04% |
Average Rate. Commerce is not individually investigating 30 companies subject to this review, but will instead assign them an average of the rates it calculated for the two companies it did individually investigate, i.e., 7.04%. See Appendix II of the notice for a complete list.
Assessment Rates for Entries November 2020 - April 2022
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries Nov. 3, 2020, through April 30, 2022. For entries from Ecos/Grantec and Zinus, Commerce will assess AD on entries during that period at importer-specific rates. Commerce will assess AD at the rates listed above for subject merchandise entered during that period from the other 30 companies subject to this review.
(The review period is 11/03/20 - 04/30/22. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2306060078 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
