Indonesia MSG: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on monosodium glutamate from Indonesia (A-560-826). These final results, unchanged from the preliminary results, will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise from two companies under review entered Nov. 1, 2021, through Oct. 31, 2022.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except CJ Indonesia and Miwon), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 6.19% applies.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Dec. 5
For entries on or after Dec. 5, the date the results are to be published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for two companies, as follows:

Assessment Rates for Entries November 2021 - October 2022
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries Nov. 1, 2021, through Oct. 31, 2022. For entries from CJ Indonesia and Miwon, Commerce will assess AD on entries during that period at importer-specific rates.
