Brazil, Canada, Mexico Issue AD/CVD Actions on Chinese Imports
Brazil, Canada and Mexico recently announced antidumping and countervailing duty actions and decisions on certain products from mainland China, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council reported Oct. 16.

Brazil recently issued preliminary affirmative dumping and injury determinations in its AD investigation on certain Chinese Yale and Tetra type brass key blanks, HKTDC said, although it hasn’t yet established provisional AD measures. The country is expected to issue a final determination in April.
Canada recently renewed its AD and CVD orders on certain Chinese steel sinks, the report said. The orders cover stainless steel sinks with various volume parameters, and exclude sinks fabricated by hand.
Mexico recently began separate sunset reviews on certain Chinese children's bicycles and micro-wire for welding. The bikes currently face AD of $13.12 per unit and the micro-wire faces a duty of 57 cents per kilogram.
