China Corrosion Inhibitors: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on certain corrosion inhibitors from China (A-570-122). Commerce said there was no change from its preliminary results in this review. These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Sept. 10, 2020, through Feb. 28, 2022.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Oct. 10

For entries on or after Oct. 10, the date these final results are to be published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD cash deposit rates. For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except those listed below), cash deposit rates will remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate of 241.02% applies. The rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates for Entries Sept. 10, 2020 - Feb. 28, 2022

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries Sept. 10, 2020, through Feb. 28, 2022. Entries from Anhui Trust and Nantong Botao will be liquidated at importer-specific rates, and entries from the three other companies under review will be liquidated at the rates listed above.
