specifically create a new “electronic certification exchange system” for EU meat, dairy and egg products destined to South Korea. The EU said it plans to first set up a pilot program for the certificates, adding that agricultural trade with South Korea “is about to become a lot easier.” The two sides will begin “technical preparations and [information technology] setup” for exchanging the certificates once the arrangement is finalized.
