Canada Softwood Lumber: Amended Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has amended the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on softwood lumber products from Canada (A-122-857) to correct ministerial errors brought to its attention by the Committee Overseeing Action for Lumber International Trade Investigations or Negotiations after the final results were published Aug. 1.

The correction to the ministerial errors affects the rate for West Fraser Mills, Ltd., and because of that correction, it was necessary to revise the calculation of the dumping margin for the non-selected companies. The rate for West Fraser changes from the original final result of 6.96% to 7.06%; the rate for the non-selected companies -- which is based on the weighted-average dumping margins calculated for the mandatory respondents -- changes from 6.20% to 6.26%. The rate for Canfor Corp., the other mandatory respondent, is unaffected and remains 5.25%.
These amended final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021.
Assessment Rates for Entries in January-December 2021
Commerce will also calculate the AD it will assess on importers for entries of subject merchandise entered between Jan. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2021. Importers of subject merchandise exported by Canfor and West Fraser will be assessed AD at importer-specific rates. Importers of subject merchandise exported by the 289 average rate, non-selected companies will be assessed AD duties at a rate of 6.26%.
