Thailand Shrimp: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on frozen warmwater shrimp from Thailand (A-549-822). Commerce set an AD rate of zero percent for Thai Union Group, the only company under review. Commerce won't assess AD duties on subject merchandise from Thai Union entered Feb. 1, 2021, through Jan. 31, 2022.. The new zero AD duty cash deposit rate for Thai Union takes effect July 5, the date of publication of these final results in the Federal Register.

For AD purposes, Thai Union consists of the following related companies: Thai Union Group Public Co., Ltd.; Thai Union Seafood Co., Ltd.; Pakfood Public Company Limited; Asia Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; Chaophraya Cold Storage Co., Ltd.; Okeanos Co., Ltd.; Okeanos Food Co., Ltd.; and Takzin Samut Co., Ltd.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except Thai Union), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 5.34% applies.
