EU Extends Trade Liberalization Measures on Ukraine for 1 Year
The EU renewed its suspension of all customs duties, quotas and trade defense measures on Ukrainian exports to the EU for another year, until June 2024, the European Council said May 25. The temporary trade liberalization measures were initially imposed to aid Ukraine's economy through Russia's invasion.

The council said the regulation applies to all customs duties under Title IV of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine, the collection of antidumping duties on Ukrainian products and the application of the common rules for imports of goods from Ukraine. The regulation, to be signed by representatives of the council and European Parliament, will take effect June 6.
