US Officials Raid JinkoSolar Plant in Florida
Federal agencies led by the DHS' Homeland Security Investigations unit carried out a court-authorized search on May 8 of a JinkoSloar plant in Jacksonville, Florida, an FBI spokesperson confirmed to International Trade Today.

“The search warrant at JinkoSolar in Jacksonville is part of an ongoing federal investigation and there is nothing more to provide at this time," an HSI spokesperson said.
Reuters reported that federal agents carried out a search of a JinkoSolar facility in California as part of the same probe.
JinkoSolar is a China-headquartered solar panel manufacturing company, with a Jacksonville plant that employs more than 270 workers, according to Solar Power World. The Jacksonville City Council postponed a vote it had been set to hold May 9 supporting JinkoSolar’s proposed $52 million expansion that would create 250 jobs, according to Jacksonville TV station WJXT.
JinkoSolar solar panels were detained previously under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, but were likely released, an analyst said in December (see 2212050039).
