Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
This review covers only TPP. Cash deposit rates for all other exporters of subject merchandise will not change as a result of this review, and Commerce has ordered liquidation of entries from such companies "as entered" at the cash deposit rate in effect at the time of entry (ADCVDWeb Message # 2172404).
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for TPP, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. Commerce preliminarily calculated an AD cash deposit rate for TPP of 0.71%. If these preliminary results are unchanged, Commerce would direct CBP to liquidate entries from TPP entered during the period March 1, 2021, through Feb. 28, 2022, at importer-specific rates.
(The period of review is 03/01/21 - 02/28/22. See the notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
