Commerce has ordered liquidation “as entered” at the cash deposit rate in effect at the time of entry for subject merchandise from exporters for which a review was not requested (ADCVDWeb Message # 2138412).
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. Commerce preliminarily calculated the following AD duty cash deposit rates:
| Exporter | AD Rate (Prelim) |
|---|---|
| Megaa Moda Pvt. Ltd. | 7.92% |
| NK Marine Exports LLP | 1.43% |
| Review Average Rate (applicable to 185 companies) | 3.76% |
Average Rate. Commerce is not individually investigating 185 companies subject to this review and instead preliminarily assigned them an average rate using the rates calculated for the two mandatory respondents. See Appendix II in Commerce's notice for a full list of these 185 companies.
Assessment Rates
As part of this administrative review, Commerce will also calculate the AD duties it will assess on importers for entries of subject merchandise entered between Feb. 1, 2021, and Jan. 31, 2022. If these preliminary results are confirmed in the final results, entries of subject merchandise exported by Megaa Moda Pvt. Ltd. and NK Marine Exports LLP will be assessed AD at importer-specific rates. Importers of subject merchandise exported by the other 185 companies under review will be assessed AD at the rates set in the final results. The cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters will continue to be 10.17%.
(The period of review is 02/01/21 - 01/31/22. See the notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
