Turkey Wire Strand: Final Results of CVD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from Turkey (C-489-843). It said it made no changes to its preliminary results of this review. However, it noted that the preliminary results contained an error about the start date of the period of review: the correct date is Sept. 21, 2020, instead of Sept. 9, 2020.

The agency set a CV duty cash deposit rate for one exporter of subject merchandise under review. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CVD on importers for subject merchandise entered during the period Sept. 21, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2021.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Jan. 20
A new CVD cash deposit rate for the producer/exporter subject to this review takes effect Jan. 20, the date the results are to be published in the Federal Register. The new rate, which will also apply for importer assessment purposes, is as follows:
| Producer/Exporter | CVD Rate |
|---|---|
| Celik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.S./Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding A.S./Adilbey Holding A.S. | 96.33% |
Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will keep their most recently assigned cash deposit rate. If the exporter has never been assigned its own CVD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate applies.
(The review period is 09/21/20 - 12/31/21. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2211030027 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
